Conclusion
Clemson University (CU) rates an unimpressive sixty percent satisfactory general education course score. Fortunately, there is a clear path through their GE requirements, but whether this path continues through to graduation remains to be seen.
The campus, in general, appears to be free of any ideological pall. The more radical, activist ideologies are contained within their various academic and administrative departments instead of spilling out onto the campus at large. The campus political atmosphere can best be described as center-right, with Clemson students rated the seventeenth most conservative student body in the country as ranked by the Princeton Review.
Despite its mediocre GE score, Clemson is doing a lot of things right. FIRE ranks CU 21st out of 251 schools for free speech, characterizing its campus as "above average," and it is expanding both its great books focused Lyceum Scholars Program and the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism.

So very glad you have found what I have found about Clemson. Our oldest grandson just graduated in June from Clemson with a BS in Finance, and he secured a job in his major before he graduated.. Our daughter and her husband also graduated from Clemson (1996), she with a BS in Biological Science degree and our son-in-law with a BS in Accounting ; He earned a Masters in Accountancy, too in (1998). Our youngest grandson has had 2 interviews with the Dean of the Veterinary School at Clemson which will open next year. Meanwhile he’s attending the Universary of Central Florida in the fall on a full scholarship and is in a pre vet program. All of these decisions and choices were made with much research and preparation done by the kids, the parents and me. There was no other person helping them in their path to college. I have spread the word about The Incoculator and hope people will use your expertise and research to assist them in this important choice. Thank you again for providing this excellent resource.
